Since deciding to play golf full time, Peter has some excellent performances to show. In 2006 he won the Irish Club Professionals Championship by 2 shots with a 6 under par total at Rathsallagh G.C.

In 2007 he finished 11th in the Irish Senior Open in his 1st European Senior Tour Event at PGA National G.C. in Ireland and was the leading Irish Player. In fact if it was not for a couple of poor holes in the last round, Peter may have been on the winners podium.

In 2008, Peter began to inroads on the Champions Tour by getting through many pre-qualifying rounds. There were 5 places to qualify at each event from up to 97 players. Peter won one event and finished in the top 5 on 7 other occasions. In fact from 12 events he was in the top 8 no fewer than 11 times and never outside 10th. The Champions Tour in 2009 has suffered from some sponsorship withdrawals, so Peter's play in the USA has been limited however he is using this "down" time to practise hard and be ready for the remainder of what is going to be a long season.
